These samples are some of the projects I have completed during my academic career.  As I engage in opportunities for clinical practice, I plan to include samples of my work in this area as well.

This paper was written for a course that examines the relationship between the mind and the body; specifically, how human psychology affects physical activity levels.  I chose to focus on the relationship between amputation and participation in physical activity.

This is a summary representation of the Psychosocial Paper above.  It's purpose is to provide a brief overview of the research paper's contents for a general audience.  The source for the image contained in this poster can be found here.

The purpose of this presentation was to choose a disorder affecting the central nervous system and explain it in depth.  Topics covered included: prevalence, affected anatomical structures, functional consequences, and treatment options.

The video linked here contains my explanation of research I helped conduct and the program I used to compile and analyze the data collected.  The main focus of the research was to explore the effectiveness of an after school program on childhood physical activity.

This assignment was a semester-long compilation of several papers.  The goals were to identify, discover treatment options for, and ascertain means by which to test the progress of individuals from a given population.  I chose to focus on amputees, particularly those with lower-limb amputation.

Each year Louisiana 4-H and the LSU Agricultural Center present Ag Magic.  Blue Cross sponsors the Body Walk during this event to teach children about their bodies and how to stay healthy.  I volunteered to give the tours in 2013 and 2014. This video is a tour I gave in 2014.

In the fall of 2015 I retook Anatomy & Physiology I and II.  It gave me the opportunity to apply my improved technology skills to my assignments.  In A&P II we were assigned to create a flowchart of the endocrine system.  The instructor asked to use my work as a sample for future classes.
